Our office is located at GG-1 39-B in the Vikaspuri area of New Delhi. It’s a bit of a suburban spot, so it feels more like a neighborhood than a central business district. We are based in a building that’s been around for quite a while, and it has that lived-in feel to it. There’s a small gate at the front and some plants that someone tries to keep alive, though they look a bit thirsty in the summer. We handle various tasks for the company, mostly the kind of work that involves sitting at a desk for eight hours a day. It’s not a flashy environment. The chairs are mismatched, and the lighting is that typical office white that can be a bit bright sometimes. We have a lot of local people working here, so the conversation is usually about the latest cricket match or what’s happening in the market nearby. Vikaspuri is a nice enough place, with plenty of shops and parks, so it doesn’t feel too closed in. We don't really have a lot of walk-in visitors, which is fine by us because it keeps things quiet. We just go about our business, checking the accounts and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. It’s an honest, plain way to make a living, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this office over the years we've spent here.
