American Express

American Express is situated at 342 Vasant Enclave in the Vasant Vihar area. This is a nice, leafy part of New Delhi where the roads are wider and there is a lot of shade from the old trees. The building at 342 is a regular structure that blends in with the other houses and offices in the enclave. We work from a set of rooms that are quite comfortable but very basic in terms of how they are set up. There are some computer stations and a long table where we sometimes gather to talk about the work for the day. We have a small window that looks out onto a little garden patch which is nice to look at when you need a break from the screen. The atmosphere is generally quiet because there isn't much heavy traffic inside the enclave itself. We spend our time managing accounts and answering queries that come through the system. There is a small pantry area with a fridge and a microwave where we heat up our food. The floors are polished stone and we try to keep things tidy, even though papers tend to pile up by the end of the week. It is a professional but very grounded place to work. We don't have fancy decorations or a grand entrance, just a simple door with the number on it. It is a peaceful spot in a busy city, and we just go about our business in a steady way.
