American Express Service Centre India is located at 3/50 on the third floor. We are in the Old Double Storey area of Lajpat Nagar-4. The pincode is 110024. Being on the third floor means there are a lot of stairs to climb every day, which keeps us moving. The building is older, like most things in this part of Lajpat Nagar, but it has a lot of character. From the windows, you can see the busy streets below and the other buildings crowded together. It’s a service center, so we are mostly busy with computers and talking to people on headsets. The desks are a bit small and we have stacks of papers here and there. It’s not a quiet place because Lajpat Nagar is always buzzing with shoppers and traffic. You can hear the horns honking even from the third floor. We usually bring our lunches from home and eat together in the small break area. It’s a very local feel even though it’s a big name company. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights out front. It’s just a regular office where we handle the service side of things. The morning starts early for us to beat the traffic on the way to the office. We spend the whole day looking at screens and then lock up in the evening. It’s just our daily routine in the heart of Delhi.
