We are located at E-94 in Karam Pura, New Delhi. This is one of the spots where American Express India operates from. It’s a busy office building and we’ve got people coming in and out all day long. Working here is pretty standard, lots of paperwork and dealing with financial services for people across the country. Karam Pura is a lively neighborhood, so there’s always noise from the street coming in through the windows. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s an office where we sit at our desks, answer phones, and process a lot of data. The air conditioning sometimes struggles in the peak of summer, but we manage. We’ve been in this location for a while now and it’s become a familiar part of our routine. We don't have a lot of corporate fluff to share. Most of us just want to do our jobs well and get home to our families. We handle credit cards and accounts, which means we have to be careful with the details. It can be repetitive work, but it’s important. We see the same faces every day at the tea stall nearby. It’s just a group of regular people working in a big company but in a very local setting. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just keep the accounts moving and help out when someone has a question. It is simple enough for us.
