We are located over in the UU Block of Pithampura, right at UU-169 C. It is a bit of a trek for some of the staff to get here in the mornings because the New Delhi traffic is never kind, especially around the 110088 area. The office itself is quite functional. We spend most of our time dealing with accounts and the various tasks that come with being part of a big name like American Express, but on the ground here, it just feels like a local workplace. We have the usual desks, some half-dead plants in the corner, and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. It is not like the movies where everything is shiny and perfect. We have real problems like the printer jamming right when you need a document or the coffee machine running out of beans at 10 AM. The staff here mostly talks about where to get the best lunch nearby or how the metro was crowded. We do our best to stay on top of the paperwork and the digital entries. It is steady work and we have a routine that keeps us going. Most of us have lived in Delhi our whole lives, so we are used to the pace of things. We just come in, do the hours, and make sure the numbers add up at the end of the day without any extra fuss or fancy talk. It’s just a normal day at the office for us here in Pithampura.
