Our location at 37-G in Sector-8 of Jasola Vihar is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day operations for American Express India Pvt Ltd. Jasola is a bit of an interesting spot in New Delhi because it feels a little more organized than some of the older colonies, but it still has that typical city rush. The office is set up to handle a lot of paperwork and digital files related to finance and accounts. We aren't sitting in a showroom; it’s a back-end environment where the focus is on the screen and the phone. Every morning, the team filters in, grabs some water or tea, and starts going through the requests that came in overnight. It’s a lot of checking figures and making sure everything aligns with the records we have on file. The desks are usually covered in notes, pens, and staplers. We have a routine that keeps things moving along through the afternoon. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, and someone is always looking for a sweater, but that’s just how office life goes. Outside the building, you can see the Metro lines and the cars heading toward Noida or South Delhi. We’ve got a mix of people here, some who have been with the company for years and others who are just starting out. It’s a straightforward work environment where we just focus on the task at hand and try to get our work finished on time.
