American Express Financial Center East

Our spot is over in Subhash Nagar at the American Express Financial Center East. Being in this part of New Delhi, specifically the 110027 area, means there is always something going on outside the doors. The building itself is what you would expect for a financial center, but we try to keep things pretty low-key inside. Subhash Nagar has its own feel, different from the more central parts of the city. You walk in, and it is just people doing their jobs. We have been at this address for a bit now, and we know the local tea stalls and the way the traffic picks up in the evening. The name American Express Financial Center East sounds a bit long, but we just call it the office. It is a solid place to be. The windows look out onto the street, and you can see the daily life of New Delhi passing by. We do not have any big fancy speeches about what we do; we just show up and get to work. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, and other times the elevator takes forever, but that is just part of being in an older part of the city. The desks are a bit cluttered, and there is always a stack of papers somewhere. It is a practical space for practical work, right here in the heart of Subhash Nagar.
