American Express Business Travels

We are located on the top floor of 5/25 in West Patel Nagar, right where Mr. Sanjeev Taneja has his space. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s a focused environment. We handle business travel, which basically means we spend our time fixing itineraries for people who are too busy to do it themselves. At American Express Business Travels, it’s a lot of coordination between different time zones and trying to find flights that don’t have six-hour layovers in the middle of the night. The office isn't some glass-walled corporate tower; it’s a real place with stacks of papers and people constantly on the phone. We’ve been working out of West Patel Nagar for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. People call us when their plans change at the last minute or when they need to get a group of workers across the country by Monday morning. It’s high-stress sometimes, but we’ve got a system that works for us. We don't use fancy scripts when we talk to clients. We just tell them what’s available and what it’s going to cost. It’s about being practical and getting things sorted so the business travelers can focus on their own jobs. We take our work seriously but we don't feel the need to be formal all the time. Just regular people doing travel paperwork.
