American Express Business Travel

Working at American Express Business Travel here in Noida is mostly about keeping track of schedules. Our office is located at N-622, Sector-25, which is a busy area with a lot of concrete and cars. The zip code is 201301 if you are looking it up on a map. Inside, the walls are mostly covered with calendars and some old maps that nobody really looks at anymore. We have a row of desks with computers that stay on all day long. The sound of typing is pretty much the background noise of our lives. We deal with people who are always in a hurry to get to the airport or a meeting. Noida can be a bit gray and dusty, so we try to keep some small plants on the windowsills just to have something green to look at. Sometimes the internet slows down and we all just sit there waiting for the pages to load so we can finish a booking. There is a small tea stall just down the road from N-622 where we get our morning chai. We have a lot of files piled up in the corner because we haven't found a better place for them yet. It's a standard office setup with rolling chairs and a printer that makes a loud clicking sound. We just go through the day, one ticket at a time, until it is time to go home.
