American Airlines

Our small hub is tucked away in Mayur Vihar Phase II, specifically in Pocket A at 98 D. Being in New Delhi-91 means we are right in the middle of a residential-meets-commercial zone. It's a quiet enough street compared to the main roads. We work for American Airlines, but this is a local administrative point. We handle the bits and pieces that keep the larger operation moving from this side of the world. It’s mostly just desks and computers in here. We don't have a big shiny sign or anything. It’s just a regular office space where we put in our hours. The daily grind involves a lot of checking schedules and coordinating with other departments. Sometimes we have to deal with time zone differences which makes for some odd hours now and then. But mostly, it’s a nine-to-five kind of deal. We know the neighbors around Pocket A pretty well. It feels like a small community even though we are part of a huge company. We don't use much corporate lingo here. We just talk like regular people and get the work finished. It’s a practical setup. Nothing fancy or over-the-top. Just a group of us making sure everything is logged correctly and the communication stays clear between the different offices across the globe. It's just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs for the airline.
