You can find us over at 1/41 on the first floor in Sunder Vihar, which is out in New Delhi-87. This is the local spot for American Airlines stuff in this part of the city. It's not a big airport counter or a shiny glass building. It’s actually a pretty quiet office in a residential-looking area. We spend our days handling bookings, answering questions about baggage, and dealing with flight schedules on our computers. The office is up a flight of stairs, and it’s just a few rooms where we keep everything running. It’s nothing fancy, just some desks, chairs, and filing cabinets that have been here for years. Sometimes the street outside gets noisy with traffic, but inside we just focus on the tasks at hand. We deal with people calling in or sometimes dropping by if they are in the neighborhood. It’s a bit of a trek if you are coming from the center of Delhi, but we are well-placed for the locals around Sunder Vihar. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. It's just a place where work happens. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know how things go. We keep it simple and try to get through the daily list of emails and calls. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation for the airline in this corner of the city, keeping things moving as best as we can.
