American Airlines

This office is based in Swami Daya Nand Colony, right over in the Sarai Rohilla part of Delhi. It is an interesting spot for an airline office because it feels more like a residential neighborhood than a big commercial hub. You will find us at F 131, which is a regular building among others. Inside, things are kept simple. We have the usual desks and a few computers where we pull up flight information. It is not like being at the airport with all the noise and the crowds. Here, it is much quieter, and we can actually talk to people without shouting. Most of the work involves looking at screens and trying to find the right connections for travelers. Sarai Rohilla has a specific feel to it, and being tucked away in a colony means we see a lot of the same local faces. We don't have any flashy advertisements on the walls. It’s just a place to get work done. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the files, while other days everyone seems to have a problem with their booking at once. We just take it as it comes. It’s a small operation in a busy city, and we are just trying to handle the travel side of things for whoever walks through the door. The fan overhead usually keeps things cool enough, and we just keep clicking away at our keyboards until the day is over.
