If you head over toward Matta Chowk in Mahipalpur, you’ll find us. We are Ambassadors Sky Chef. Mr. Suraj Singh is usually the one keeping an eye on things around here. It’s a busy part of New Delhi because the airport is so close. You can hear the engines all day and night. We are in the business of getting food ready for those flights. It’s not just about cooking; it’s about timing everything so the meals are fresh when they get on the plane. The kitchen is always moving. We have people coming in for early shifts and others staying late. Mahipalpur is a bit of a maze if you don't know it, but once you find Matta Chowk, we aren't far. We have been working with different airlines for a while now. It’s hard work, standing on your feet and making sure the trays are packed right. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a flight is delayed, but we handle it. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It is mostly just the kitchen and the loading area. The staff here are mostly locals or people who moved to Delhi for work. We share meals together when it’s quiet. It's just a regular job for us, making sure travelers have something to eat while they are stuck in the air. It is a long day but we like the work.
