Working at Ambassador Sky Chef involves a lot of moving parts, especially since we are tied to the operations over at I.G. The focus is usually on the senior flight executive tasks and making sure everything in the operation department is moving like it should. We don't really have a standard office vibe because everything revolves around the timing of flights. People like Guru Raja Acharya and the rest of the crew are usually busy with the logistics of food and service. It’s a lot of coordination. We don’t have time for polished speeches or big marketing plans. The work is mostly about checking lists, verifying supplies, and making sure the kitchen is running. It’s a bit of a specialized environment, and you have to get used to the pace. We are located where the action is, near the airport, and that means things never really stop. Day or night, there’s always something to do. Some of us have been around here a long time, with personal roots going back to 06-02-1975. Being a Hindu Brahmin is just part of the personal background for some here in the department. We just get on with it. It’s not about being the most famous place, it’s about making sure the trays are ready and the planes have what they need. It’s a practical, gritty job that keeps us busy from start to finish every single day. We just focus on the planes and the next flight out.
