Amadeus India is tucked away at C-6/6008 in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. Vasant Kunj is one of those neighborhoods that feels a bit more spread out and organized than other parts of the city. Our office is part of a residential-style block, so it’s not some massive glass tower. It’s a quiet place where we can actually hear ourselves think. We spend most of our time dealing with travel technology, which sounds complicated but for us, it’s just the daily grind. The office is filled with the hum of computers and people talking quietly. We don't have any flashy art on the walls or expensive furniture. We have desks that work and chairs that are comfortable enough for an eight-hour shift. The 110070 area is nice because there are some decent spots to grab a bite to eat nearby. We aren't into big corporate slogans or making ourselves sound more important than we are. We are just a group of people who know our systems well and keep them running. Sometimes the internet goes down or the power flickers, but that’s just life in Delhi. We handle it and keep going. It’s a straightforward environment. No one is trying to impress anyone else. We just come to C-6/6008, do our jobs, and then head home through the Vasant Kunj traffic at the end of the day. It is a steady way to spend the week.
