Amadeus India is based here in Katwaria Sarai at C-29. It’s a typical New Delhi neighborhood with lots of houses and small shops crammed together. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and it’s become part of our daily lives. The office is tucked away, so it doesn't feel like a big corporate headquarters. We deal with travel technology and systems, but at the end of the day, we’re just a bunch of people sitting in an office trying to keep the software running. It can get pretty cramped during the peak hours when everyone is in, but we make it work. We have a small kitchen area where we grab coffee and gossip a little bit. It’s not the most modern space—the paint is peeling in some corners and the furniture is a bit mismatched—but it’s where we get things done. People often drop by to ask questions about travel bookings or just to see how things are going. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people to make us look sleek. We just show up, deal with the technical glitches, and try to help our clients out as best as we can. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place to work. Sometimes the printer jams and we all have to take turns trying to fix it, but that's just life in an office.
