Amadeus India Pvt Ltd is located at D-47 in Huaz Khas, New Delhi. The area is famous for its history and the park, but our part of it is more about the everyday office grind. The building we are in is one of those older structures that has been converted into office spaces. It has a bit of character, though the stairs are narrow and the elevator is a bit moody. Inside, it’s a typical office with desks, computers, and stacks of files. We deal with travel systems, so there are always people talking on phones or typing away. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters; it feels more like a lived-in workspace. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. The windows look out over the street, so we can see the traffic building up in the afternoons. Huaz Khas is a great place to be, but it gets very crowded, especially on the weekends. We try to finish our work and head to the metro before the rush gets too bad. We don’t have any fancy signs hanging on the walls, just a few maps and calendars. The carpet is a bit worn out in places, and the desks are crowded together, but we get along well. It’s a functional place where we just focus on the tasks at hand. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like a second home to most of us.
