It is a standard retail-focused office in the 110063 zip code area, nothing too out of the ordinary. We spend our days coordinating with suppliers and looking at stock lists to see what is moving and what isn't. The space is filled with samples and boxes most of the time, which makes it feel a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. It is a small team of us here, and we have all been working together long enough that we don't need to say much to get things done. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their shopping and daily business. We try to keep a low profile and just focus on the retail side of things. It can get pretty frantic when a new shipment is expected or when the paperwork starts piling up on the desks. We don't have fancy meeting rooms or anything like that; we usually just talk over the desks or while someone is making a pot of tea. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We like the neighborhood because it feels like a real community where everyone is just trying to earn a living. That is basically what we are doing too, just handling the retail business day by day.
