Alnafoura Restaurant, Riyadh

We are over here in Mayur Vihar Phase 3, tucked into Pocket B-8. It's a busy little spot, and Alnafoura Restaurant has been a part of this neighborhood for a while now. The name says Riyadh because that's where the inspiration comes from, but the kitchen is right here in New Delhi. Most days start early with getting the ingredients sorted. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just us cooking and making sure people get their meals. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We try to keep things simple. If you walk past 15-G, you’ll usually smell what’s on the stove. It’s not a huge place, just a regular restaurant where we do our own thing. We have locals who come in all the time, and we know most of their faces by now. It’s just how it goes here. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the city. We just want to make sure the food is ready and the tables are clean. There’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning up or checking the supplies for the next day. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but it’s what we do. The address is pretty easy to find once you are in the pocket. It’s just everyday life for us here in Delhi. It is loud, messy, and keeps us moving through the week.
