You can find Ajay Money Exchange Services Pvt.Ltd. on the first floor of C-50. We are tucked away in Sharda Puri, New Delhi. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve been here a long time. People come in with dollars or euros and we give them rupees. We also handle other currencies depending on what people bring in from their travels. The office is small and has a big glass counter where we count the bills. It’s a serious job because you can’t make mistakes with money, so we double-check everything manually. Sometimes the local market noise from Sharda Puri gets quite loud, especially on weekends. We have a small TV in the corner that usually shows the news or the cricket scores. It’s a local business through and through. We know many of our customers by name because they live just a few streets away. We don't have any marketing brochures or fancy posters on the walls. It’s just a place to get your money changed at a fair rate. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. We stay open until the evening most days.
