People usually find us here in Hall number 1 of the MCD Market in Karol Bagh. It's a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the shop. We’ve been sitting in this same space for a good while now, surrounded by boxes of wires, old television parts, and remote controls. It’s not a fancy place by any means. The shelves are a bit dusty and the fan makes a clicking noise if you turn it up too high, but it works fine for us. Mostly, the day goes by dealing with people coming in with broken transistors or looking for a specific cable they can’t find anywhere else. My desk is usually covered in tools and tiny screws that I try not to lose. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the market noise outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are if they need something fixed or a new plug. It’s a small shop, but it keeps us busy from morning until we pull the shutter down at night. Usually, I’m the one here, unless I’ve stepped out for a quick tea at the corner stall. We just keep things moving, one repair at a time, making sure the lights stay on and the customers get what they need without too much fuss or extra talk.
