Our location is at B-33 in the Airport Apartments in Vikaspuri. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit different from the actual airport buildings, but many of us who work for the Airports Authority of India live and work around here. These apartments have been around for quite a few years, and they house a lot of the people who keep the flights running. We use this specific unit for some of our local administrative tasks and meetings. It’s a very lived-in space with a lot of history. You can usually find a few of us sitting around discussing schedules or maintenance issues. Vikaspuri is a nice part of New Delhi, and having this base here makes sense for the staff. We aren't here to do anything flashy; it’s just a functional part of our organization. The office is simple, with some old wooden furniture and a lot of binders full of regulations. We have a lot of tea and talk about the daily challenges of managing air traffic and ground services. It feels more like a community center than a corporate office. We’ve been part of this apartment complex for a long time, and it’s just a normal part of our lives. We show up, do the work that needs doing, and help each other out whenever things get complicated. It is just about keeping things organized behind the scenes.
