Our office for Airindia is located at C-6/2 in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi-57. It’s an older building in a very established part of the city. Vasant Vihar has a lot of trees and the streets are usually quite clean. We have been working from this specific block for quite a long time. It’s a quiet spot, which is helpful when we have a lot of work to get through. The office isn't very large, but it fits all our desks and the old filing cabinets we’ve had for years. You can hear the birds in the morning since it’s a green area. We aren't right on the main road, so it’s a bit more peaceful than the rest of Delhi. Sometimes the traffic on the way here is terrible, but once you get inside the gate, it’s fine. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea for everyone in the afternoon. The walls are painted a simple white and we have some old maps pinned up. It’s a place where people come to get things sorted out without any fuss. We don't have any neon signs or anything like that. It’s just a solid, local office. Most of us have been working together here for a while, so we know how things run. It’s a comfortable, normal workplace that feels like home.
