You can find us at Starhouse, which is A/139 on Street No- 7, right off Road No- 4 in Mahipalpur. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially since it’s so close to the airport. The noise of planes overhead is just a regular part of our day. Inside the office, it’s mostly the sound of phones ringing and people talking all at once. It’s a call center, so it’s never really quiet. We have rows of desks with headsets and monitors everywhere you look. The air conditioning is always humming, trying its best to keep the Delhi heat out. It’s not a very pretty building, just a functional one made of concrete and glass. We work in shifts, so there are always people coming and going at odd hours of the night. The tea man comes around a few times a day, which is something we all look forward to. Mahipalpur is a bit of a maze with all the small streets and hotels, but once you find Starhouse, it’s pretty straightforward. We don't have time for a lot of talk that isn't about the work. We just sit at our stations, take the calls, and try to get through the queue. It gets stressful when the lines are full, but we just keep at it. There’s no big mystery to what we do; it’s just a lot of people in a room trying to answer questions and solve problems as they come in.
