Air India

Air India has this branch over at K-320 in Shakur Pur, New Delhi. This isn't the big airport terminal or the massive headquarters you might see on the news. It is a more local, grounded office in a very busy part of the city. Shakur Pur is a crowded place with narrow streets and lots of small businesses everywhere. Our building at K-320 is right in the thick of it. When you come inside, it’s a bit of a contrast from the noisy street outside. We have our desks set up, lots of papers stacked up, and there is usually a fan humming in the corner. We spend our days dealing with the logistics and the paperwork side of things. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. We know where to get the best tea and which shortcut to take when the main road is blocked. The office itself is pretty plain. We use simple furniture and the lighting is just standard. We aren't here to look fancy; we are here to get through the work that needs doing for the airline. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. It is just a regular group of people working hard in a small corner of Delhi to make sure everything stays on track.
