Air India

This Air India office is located at C-1/41 in Rama Park, which is part of the Uttam Nagar area. It is a very busy part of New Delhi, and the streets around 110059 are always packed with people and traffic. Our office is a modest space, not like the big airport terminals people associate with the name. We have some old posters of planes on the walls that have started to curl at the edges. The desks are covered in ledgers and various forms that we have to fill out by hand sometimes. It is a bit of a walk from the metro station, so we are usually a little tired by the time we arrive in the morning. The building is older, and the entrance is tucked away next to a small grocery store. We get a lot of noise from the street—horns honking and people shouting—but we have grown used to it over the years. There is a small ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it is on the highest setting, but it helps with the humidity. We do not have any fancy coffee machines, just a kettle and some tea bags in a drawer. It is a practical environment where we focus on the logistics and the paperwork that keeps things moving behind the scenes. People come in with questions about their bookings, and we do our best to find the right files in our cabinets.
