Air India

So this is where we are, at Michael Villa in Neendakara. It is a quiet spot in Kollam, Kerala. The pin code is 691582. Air India has this branch or office here, and it is definitely not what people expect when they think of a big airline. It feels more like a home than a big corporate office. We are just down the road from the P O. Being in Kerala, the surroundings are quite nice, much better than being stuck in a crowded city center. We spend our days handling whatever paperwork or logistics come our way. The building itself is just a regular house, really. We have a few rooms set up with desks and some old files. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all day. Local people sometimes stop by to ask questions. We try to help out where we can. It is a very relaxed atmosphere compared to the big hubs. We don't have any fancy uniforms or anything like that here. It is just a small group of us working out of this villa. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we manage to get the tasks done eventually. It’s a simple life working in Neendakara. We like the pace of it. Not much happens in a hurry here, which is fine by us. We just keep things ticking along as best as we can without any fuss.
