We are located at H 1/3 in the Police Colony of Andrews Ganj, New Delhi. It’s a bit of a strange place to find an Air India office, since it’s inside a residential area for police families. The building is just a plain government-style block. Inside, we handle a lot of the back-office work that keeps the airline going. It’s mostly about records and administration. There are no planes here, obviously, just a lot of desks and filing cabinets. The atmosphere is very different from a busy airport. It’s much more relaxed and slow-paced. You can hear the sounds of the colony outside, like people talking or the occasional siren. We’ve been here for a long time, and the office has that lived-in feel. The furniture is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We don’t have any fancy corporate branding on display. It’s just a functional space for the staff. Most of us have been working here for decades, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the company over the years. We just keep doing our part to make sure everything is documented correctly. It’s not a glamorous job, and we don’t get many visitors from outside. We just show up every day, do our paperwork, and enjoy the quiet of Andrews Ganj. It’s a steady, reliable place to work.
