Air India

Down in Rani Bagh, at Wz 1688, is where you will find this branch of Air India. It is a busy part of Delhi, and the street outside is usually full of traffic and people going about their business. Our office here isn't one of those shiny airport counters; it is more of a practical place where the real work of managing flights and passengers happens. We deal with a lot of questions about baggage, ticket changes, and delays. Sometimes the people coming in are frustrated because travel can be stressful, and we do our best to just listen and see what the computer says. The desks are a bit old and the chairs might creak a little, but it is a place where we get things done. We have been in this Rani Bagh spot for a while now, and the local shopkeepers all know us. It’s a mix of a lot of different tasks every day. One minute we are filing a report and the next we are trying to explain a policy to someone who is in a hurry. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or decorations. We just have our computers and the phone that never seems to stop ringing. It’s a very human way to work, dealing with people's plans and problems right there on the ground. We just show up, do the hours, and try to keep the paperwork moving so people can get where they need to go.
