Air India

Air India in Sarojani Nagar. We sit in a busy part of Delhi. Everyone knows the name but here in the office, it is just us handling the day to day. We spend a lot of time on computers checking flights and baggage rules. It gets very loud outside because of the market. People walk in with shopping bags asking about tickets or sometimes just asking for the way to the metro. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with travel is often a mess because rules change all the time but we just take it as it comes. The office is not fancy. It has some desks and chairs and a lot of paper. Sometimes the phones ring too much and it feels a bit chaotic but we get through it. We have been in Sarojani Nagar for quite a while now. We have seen the shops change and the crowds get bigger. It is a job that keeps us on our feet especially when people are traveling for holidays. We do not have a big lobby or fancy machines. Just people working. That is how it is. We do the paperwork and answer the questions. It is not always smooth but we are here every day. People come to us when they need to go somewhere far or just back home. We just do our best to get the details right.
