This branch of the work is handled from House Number 47 in Khyaliram Gali, Mahipalpur. It’s a small place in New Delhi 37, right near the airport. We are C/O Satish Sehrawat, and Shyam is the one you’ll usually find here at the desk. The lane is quite narrow, so you have to walk in from the main road. It’s a typical Mahipalpur street, full of guest houses and small shops. Our office is just a room in the house where we keep the Air India logs and handle the local staff issues. It’s not the big corporate headquarters you might see on TV. It’s just a practical spot where the real work happens. The walls are plain, and we have a few old fans that hum all day long. Outside, the planes are always flying overhead, which reminds us of what we’re part of. We spend our time checking schedules and talking to the crew who stay nearby. It’s a busy life but it’s very local. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers in Khyaliram Gali quite well. There’s no glamour here, just the daily grind of the airline business from a small house in a crowded alley. We drink our tea, answer the calls, and keep the records updated for the next shift. It’s quiet enough to get things done but close enough to the action. We just stay here and do what is required for the day.
