Down here in Ashok Nagar, specifically at D-582 on Street No. 1/3, things stay pretty loud. This Air India office is tucked into a bit of a maze in Shahdara, and we get people coming in all day asking about flights or trying to sort out their tickets. It’s not like the big airport offices you see on TV. We’ve got desks, a few chairs for people to wait, and a lot of paperwork that seems to grow every time we look at it. Sometimes the power cuts out for a second and we all just sit there in the dark waiting for the generator to kick in. Dealing with travel can be stressful for people, so we try to keep things calm, even when the street outside is full of rickshaws and noise. We’ve been at this address in Delhi for a while, and the locals know where to find us. It’s a small space, and on hot days, the AC has to work really hard to keep up. We spend our time checking schedules and talking to customers who are usually in a hurry. It’s just a regular office doing regular work in a busy part of town. There’s no fancy lounge here, just us and the computers trying to make sure everyone gets where they need to go without too much trouble. It's a bit cramped, but we make it work.
