Air India

Out here in Village Singaria, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We’re near the Singaria Bazar in the Karimganj district of Assam. It might seem like an odd spot for an Air India connection, but this is where we are. It’s a rural area, quite far from the busy life of the major cities. We don't have a giant glass terminal here. It's just a simple office setup in the village. Most of the people around here know each other. We spend our time handling the local logistics and helping folks with their travel questions. It gets very green here during the monsoon, but the roads can get a bit muddy. We’ve got a couple of desks and some old registers that we still use. We don't have a big team of corporate executives in suits. It’s just us, wearing regular clothes and drinking tea while we work. The pace of life in Karimganj is much slower. We like it that way. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just make sure the local details are sorted out for everyone. Sometimes the power goes out, so we keep some lanterns ready in the corner. It’s just a practical way of working in the countryside. We’ve been here for a long time and the locals know where to find us if they need help. It's just a basic office doing basic work for people.
