I work at the Air France unit which is located inside the Oberoi Flight Services area at the IGI Airort T-Ii. We are specifically near the Centaur Hotel in New Delhi. The zip code is 110037. This isn't a place for passengers to come and buy tickets. It’s more of a ground-level operations unit. We spend our shifts making sure everything for the flights is organized. It can get pretty loud because we are so close to the runways. You hear the planes taking off all day long. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork. It is not a very fancy room. It has desks, some old computers, and a lot of binders that are falling apart. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay alert during the long shifts. Being near the Centaur Hotel is handy for finding us, but most people don't really need to come here. We are just a small part of the bigger airline, doing our bit here in Delhi. The weather in New Delhi can be tough, especially when we have to go outside to check on things on the tarmac. We just wear our uniforms and get on with the task. It is a steady job and we have a good group of people working here in this unit. The air conditioning sometimes struggles, but we make do with what we have.
