Air France Cargo

Our place is on the second floor at L-65B in Malviya Nagar. It is where we handle the cargo side of things for the airline. Being tucked away on the second floor means we are a bit removed from the noise of the street, which is good when we are trying to track shipments. There is a lot of movement in this business, even if we are just sitting in an office in New Delhi. We spend most of our time looking at flight schedules and manifests to see where boxes and crates are supposed to be. It’s a lot of logistics and sometimes things get delayed, which usually means more phone calls for us to handle. Malviya Nagar is a lively part of town, so finding a parking spot near the building can be a real pain sometimes. We’ve been in this office for a good stretch now. It’s not a fancy airport lounge; it’s just a workspace with some computers and a lot of paper. We just focus on getting things from point A to point B without a lot of fuss. Some days are slow, but most of the time we are just trying to keep up with the pace of global shipping. It’s a steady job and we have a small group of people here who have been doing this for years. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure the cargo gets where it belongs.
