Air Deccan is based at B-96/2 in Mehrauli, New Delhi. The pincode is 110030. Mehrauli is one of the oldest parts of the city, so the streets are narrow and there’s a lot of history around every corner. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a building where we come to work every day. We deal with aviation stuff, mostly focusing on the details of flights and how to get people moved around. There are usually a few of us here sitting around a couple of old desks. We talk a lot about schedules and technical requirements. It can get pretty stressful when things are moving fast, but we’ve been doing this long enough to not let it get to us. We don't have a lobby with magazines or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We like the local vibe of Mehrauli. It feels more real than the shiny new parts of Delhi. We spend our lunch breaks at the local stalls nearby. The work is straightforward and we try to keep it that way. No need for complicated explanations or corporate talk. We just focus on the airplanes and the passengers. We've been at this address for a long time and the neighbors know us by now.
