If you look for us on Old Ranpuri Road in Mahipalpur, you’ll find us in L 36. It’s Room No 12, so it isn’t very large at all. Being so close to the airport means we hear the planes going over all the time, which fits what we do I guess. The room is usually filled with the sound of someone typing or talking on the phone. We have some maps and schedules pinned to the wall, and the desk is usually covered in folders. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and the street outside always has something going on. We handle a lot of the back-office stuff here, making sure things are moving as they should. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things okay. It isn’t a corporate headquarters with hundreds of people, just a small team in a small room doing the daily work. People sometimes get lost finding the building because the numbering on Ranpuri Road is a bit confusing, but once they get to Room 12, they find us easily enough. We keep the tea kettle going and just get through the lists of tasks for the day. There isn’t much fluff here, just desks, computers, and a lot of work related to the flights. We’ve been in this Mahipalpur spot for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace and the tight space.
