About Air Cargo Terminal Igi Airport – Tourism in Delhi
Air Cargo Terminal Igi Airport has an office over at C-28C Jvts Garden in Chhatterpur Extension. It is a bit of a distance from the actual main runways, but this is where we do all the paperwork and the planning. Being involved with cargo means you are always looking at clocks and calendars. Things are constantly moving in and out of the airport, and we are the ones sitting in the office in N.D.-74 trying to keep track of it all. The Chhatterpur area is quite busy and the roads can be a real pain during rush hour. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing stuff into old computers. It is not the kind of job you see in movies about airports. It’s mostly just boxes, manifests, and making sure the labels are correct so nothing gets lost in transit. Our space in Jvts Garden isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks and files everywhere. We have some tea, talk about the day's shipments, and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just want to make sure the cargo gets from point A to point B without a hitch. It’s a bit repetitive, but someone has to do it. We stay late if a shipment is delayed, which happens more often than you would think.
