Agilent Technologies

We are based over at H-48A in Mansarover Park, which is in the Shahdara part of Delhi. It’s a fairly residential area, but we have our Agilent Technologies office set up here. It’s not a massive skyscraper or a high-tech lab you might imagine from the name. It’s just a solid, functional building where we get our daily work done. The street outside can get a bit dusty, and there are always kids playing nearby or people walking to the local market. We like being in Shahdara because it feels like a real community. Inside, our space is organized but definitely looks like people actually work there. There are wires and equipment scattered around sometimes, and the desks are usually covered in notes. We don't have a corporate handbook on how to talk to people. We just answer the door or the phone and help out with whatever is needed. Our team is small, and we’ve all known each other for a long time, so things are pretty relaxed. We don't go in for big speeches about goals. We just show up at 9, do the technical work that’s on the schedule, and try to avoid the worst of the traffic when we head home at 5 or 6. It’s just a normal job in a normal neighborhood, and that’s how we like to keep it.
