Our place is out in Village Milak Krira, which is under the Shikarpur post office in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. It’s a very different setting than being in a big city. Around here, you see a lot of green fields and the pace of life is definitely slower. We operate out of a building that fits right into the village landscape. It’s not a high-rise or a glass building. Most of our days are quiet, except for the usual sounds of village life like tractors or people calling out to each other. We are part of the local community here. Bulandshahr is the main district, but we are a bit further out in the rural part. It can be a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the main highway, but the roads are okay. We do our work from here without any big fuss. There’s no corporate culture or fancy dress codes. We just show up and get through the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just deal with it and keep going. It’s a very basic and honest way to work. We don't have a website with lots of marketing talk; we just have this office in the village where we handle our business. It feels more real to be out here than in some big office block in a city.
