We are over in Naraina, specifically at E 3. This part of the neighborhood is always humming with some kind of work going on. Agarwal Traders isn't a showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a practical space filled with crates and ledgers. The air smells a bit like cardboard and old paper sometimes. We mostly deal with the day-to-day stuff that local businesses and people nearby need. It can get pretty cramped inside when a new shipment arrives and we haven't found a place for everything yet. The light inside is a bit dim because the sun doesn't hit this side of the street directly in the afternoon. We have an old desk where most of the talking happens. People walk in, ask for what they need, and we go find it in the back. There isn't any background music, just the sound of trucks passing by outside and the occasional horn. Sometimes the tea boy from around the corner brings us a couple of glasses of hot chai, and we take a break for five minutes. We don’t do much advertising; people just find us because they live or work in the Naraina area. It’s a simple operation. We keep track of things in big registers mostly, though there is a computer in the corner that we use when we have to. It's just a regular day of moving things around and making sure everyone gets what they came for before we close up.
