Affordable Holidays

Affordable Holidays is tucked away at D-738 in C.R. Park. It’s a busy part of New Delhi and we have been at this address for quite some time now. The office is small and usually filled with stacks of travel brochures and old files that we really should probably organize better. We spend most of our mornings on the phone trying to get through to airlines or talking to people about where they want to go for their summer break. C.R. Park is a nice area but the parking is a nightmare so we usually tell people to just take a rickshaw if they are coming to see us. There is a tea stall right outside that we go to at least four times a day. The computer we use is a bit slow and the printer makes a loud grinding noise every time it starts up. We just sit here and do our work without much fuss. Sometimes the internet goes down when it rains and we have to just wait it out. It is not a corporate setup at all. It’s just a couple of us in a room with some maps on the wall and a lot of pens that usually don’t work. We know most of the neighbors and they often stop by just to say hello or ask about ticket prices. It is a simple life here and we just keep things moving along.
