Affordable Holidays

Affordable Holidays is run out of N-35 in Sriniwaspuri. We are in New Delhi 65, which is a pretty standard neighborhood. I started this because I liked the idea of helping people get away for a bit without spending too much. It’s just a small office, nothing too big. There is a desk, a couple of chairs for when people come to visit, and a lot of travel brochures that are probably a bit out of date. We don’t have a big team or anything. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting here, looking at maps and booking flights or trains for folks in the area. Sriniwaspuri is a busy place, and there’s always someone walking by the window. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s very quiet. We don’t use any of those big marketing slogans. We just tell people what things cost and how to get there. It’s a simple business. We spend our days looking at computer screens and trying to find the best routes. The office gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep it tidy. Most of our customers are just people from the local blocks who want to go on a trip. We like hearing their stories when they come back. It makes the long hours worth it. We hope to stay here in Sriniwaspuri for many more years to come.
