We are working out of Nagpal Unit-2 in Udalla, which is in the Mayurbhanj district of Orissa. This isn't a city office with glass walls; it’s a site office where we are right in the middle of the project. Rajesh Kumar Panda and the rest of us spend most of our time out here. It’s a dusty place, especially when the big machines are moving around, but that’s the nature of infrastructure work. We have a basic setup with some maps on the walls and a few old computers that have seen better days. Living and working in Mayurbhanj is a different kind of life. It’s quiet in the evenings, but during the day, it’s all about the construction and the movement. We don't have any marketing people here to write fancy things. We just worry about the materials coming in on time and the workers being safe. The rain can be a real problem during the monsoon, and we often have to stop everything and wait it out. It’s a tough job, but there is a lot of satisfaction in seeing something get built from nothing. We eat our meals together and talk about the progress we’ve made. It’s a simple, hardworking life out here in Udalla, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day.
