Aegis Bpo

Aegis Bpo is located over in Batla House, which is part of Jamia Nagar in Okhla. If you know New Delhi, you know this area is extremely crowded and full of life. Our office is at J-6, and it is a place that never really seems to sleep. Since it is a Bpo, we have people coming and going at all hours for different shifts. The air is always filled with the sound of people talking on their headsets and the hum of the server racks. It is a very urban setting, right in the middle of a dense neighborhood. You can smell the food from the local stalls wafting in whenever someone opens the main door. The workspace itself is filled with rows of cubicles and computer monitors that stay on day and night. We have a lot of young people working here, so the energy is usually pretty high even at three in the morning. It is not a fancy corporate park with fountains; it is a practical office built into a busy residential and commercial block. The stairs are narrow and we sometimes have issues with the parking outside because the streets are so tight. We just focus on answering the calls and getting through the queues of tickets that pop up on our screens. It is a hard-working environment where we just try to get the job done and then head home through the busy Okhla streets.
