Our office for Abm Travels & Tours is at Number 400, Sector-23, Pocket-1 in Dwarka. Being in Dwarka is quite convenient because the airport isn’t too far away, which makes sense for a travel business. We have the Iata certification, so we handle a lot of official ticketing and travel documents. The office itself is full of travel posters that are starting to curl at the edges and stacks of brochures from different countries. We have several computers that stay on all day as we look for flights and hotels for people. It can get pretty stressful when someone’s flight gets cancelled or they need a visa at the last minute. We just sit here in our chairs, typing away and talking on the phone to airlines. The carpet is a bit worn from people coming in and out, and the lighting is that standard office tube light. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, one of us just looks up from our desk when the door opens. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. Dwarka is a big residential hub, so we get a lot of local families coming in to ask about holiday trips. We just try to find them something that works without making it too complicated. It’s a straightforward job, mostly just dealing with schedules and prices all day long in our little corner of Sector-23. We keep at it until the evening.
