We are over at Plot J-12 in the Udyog Nagar Industrial Area. It’s right in Peera Garhi, and the metro station is close enough that you can walk it in five minutes. Being Able Shoe Machinery, we spend our days looking at, well, shoe machines. It’s a specific niche, but it keeps us busy. The industrial area is always buzzing with people moving crates and fixing engines. Our shop is no different. We have rows of machines in various states of repair. Some are brand new, others look like they’ve seen decades of use. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we have, you just walk through the workshop. It’s a bit cramped with all the iron and steel around, but we know where everything is. The team is mostly technicians who know these machines inside and out. We talk about gears and motors more than anything else. Lunch is usually a group affair in the small break room. We don't do much marketing or advertising. Most people find us because someone else told them we know how to fix these things. It's a straightforward way to run a business, and it works for us here in Peera Garhi. There is always someone working on a motor or cleaning up some parts on the main table. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
