Abercrombie & Kent

Our office is located at B 29 in Pandav Nagar, which is a pretty standard part of New Delhi. It’s not where you’d expect a big travel company like Abercrombie & Kent to be, but it works for us. Most of our day is spent looking at maps and trying to figure out the best way to get someone from one city to another without them getting stuck at an airport for ten hours. We have a lot of books and brochures lying around, though most of what we do is digital now. It’s a lot of emailing back and forth with hotels and local guides. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all just end up chatting about our own weekend plans while we wait for a page to load. We aren't a bunch of corporate types in suits; we're mostly just people who know a bit about travel and like to help others see new things. We take our lunches together sometimes, and the office can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. It’s a decent place to work, even if the stairs are a bit steep and the lighting could be better. We just focus on the logistics and hope everything goes smoothly for the people who book through us. It's just us in Pandav Nagar, doing the work.
