You can find us at 127 on the first floor in Arjun Nagar. It’s part of the larger Safdarjung Nagar area in New Delhi. The building is one of those older structures that has seen a lot of years. To get to the office, you have to walk up a flight of stairs that are a bit narrow. Once you are inside, it’s a fairly normal workspace. We have a few rooms filled with desks and cupboards full of old files. Abercrombi & Kent has been operating from this spot for a good while. We like the location because it is central, even if the traffic in Safdarjung can be a nightmare during peak hours. The lighting in the office isn't the best, but we have our desk lamps. We aren't a big flashy company with a glass front. We are just a team working on travel details and itineraries. Most of our day is spent on the computer or talking to people on the phone. We often order lunch from the small eateries nearby because nobody has time to cook. It’s a very ordinary life here. We have our regulars who know where we are. Sometimes we have to move boxes around to make space for a new chair. It’s not perfect, but it is our workspace and we are used to the quirks of the building. We keep a stash of biscuits in the kitchen for tea time. It keeps us going through the long afternoons.
