We operate out of the third floor at F-2/7 in Malviya Nagar. It is a good spot in New Delhi, right near the main market area which is handy for lunch. The office is focused on the engineering and power work that the company does. Since we’re up on the third floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street level, though you can still hear the horns honking below. We have a few rooms filled with computers and some technical equipment. It’s not a showroom; it is where the actual technical planning and coordination happen. The staff here are mostly engineers or support people who have been with us for years. We have a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle for tea and coffee. The decor is pretty dated, but it serves its purpose. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. Most of our day is spent looking at diagrams or talking to teams out in the field. Sometimes the lift in the building is temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving. We’ve been in this part of Malviya Nagar long enough that we know all the local vendors and the best places to grab a quick snack. It’s a steady, functional workspace where we just focus on the projects at hand.
